Marketing officer

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and results-driven Marketing Officer to promote our tour packages, manage brand communications, and increase our online and offline presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tourism trends, digital marketing, and campaign management to drive customer engagement and boost bookings.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute marketing strategies to promote the company’s tour services.
• Manage and grow the company’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
• Design and distribute promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and email newsletters.
• Collaborate with sales and tour operations teams to create targeted campaigns.
• Monitor and analyse market trends and competitor activities.
• Update and manage the company website content, blogs, and SEO efforts.
• Organise and represent the company at tourism fairs, exhibitions, and networking events.
• Collect feedback from clients and use insights to improve marketing content and campaigns.
• Develop partnerships with hotels, influencers, media houses, and travel agents.
• Track campaign performance metrics (e.g., bookings, engagement rates, conversion rates) and report to management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Tourism, Communication, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the tourism/hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, Canva, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Experience in photography, video editing, or content creation is an added advantage.
